Cleared: Hurdle One

I now have essential equipment - a USB microphone! Whee!

Now to load up some tweaking software in case I need it for levels, but even more importantly, I must get over the winter cold season so I don't sound like Jeremiah the Bullfrog is reading to you good people.

I do look forward to starting this, but, well...
